Things are slowly getting better. Leo is definitely out and about much more. He's been around most of the rooms and is interacting with everyone in the apartment. We also built him a little cat fort in the spare kitchen, I hope he sleeps there and stops meowing in the halls.
Speaking of which... he's still meowing in the hall. It wasn't too bad for a while until it got really loud at 3am, at which point it was earplugs time. Those were key, though I hope I don't have to resort to that in my own house (which is generally very quiet).
